Membership Categories

Ordinary Member – USD$150

This section is for those who wish to be considered for membership residing in the Caribbean and can include cardiologists, internists and surgeons.

Two (2) letters of sponsorship from current CCS members need to be included with the application.

Ordinary Member Renewal – USD$150

General ordinary member renewal.                                

Associate Member

This is for those who wish to be considered for membership employed in a scientific and/or educational capacity in the cardiac or allied discipline approved by the council or allied discipline approved by the council and has attained such qualifications as the council from time to time prescribe or approve of the class of membership for which application is being made

Two (2) letters of sponsorship from current CCS members need to be included with the application.

Student Member

This category is for an enrolled student in a Medical Sciences Program. This person has been proposed for membership by the Dean of the Medical School at which he is enrolled.

A letter of sponsorship from programme director or Dean of Medical School should be included with the application form.

Fellow

A fellow is a member of CCS, who has rendered significant service to cardiological science and technology, provided distinguished service to the CCS. This designation can only be achieved by election by other members of CCS

Honorary Member

Honorary membership may be bestowed to persons of distinction in medicine within the Caribbean or abroad and those who have contributed to the advancement of Cardiology or the field of diseases of the heart and circulation.
